Ledger was probably best known for his role in Brokeback Mountain for which his was nominated of an Oscar for his role as Ennis Del Mar. At the time he did not win the Oscar he took the loss pretty hard.

His breakthrough role was the Australian movie Two Hands which was realeased in 1999. That same year he also had success with 10 Things I Hate about You.

Recently Ledger completed filming for The Dark Knight in which he plays The Joker. The movie is currently in post production. I heard an interview with him recently where he discussed the role and said it was the most fun he has had playing a role.

Ledger was currently filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus which was due to be released in 2009.

Ledger was born in Perth, Western Australia.

Top 10 Internet Business Resolutions for 2008

Here is a list of Top 10 Internet Business Resolutions for 2008 from Joel Comm.
Feel free to repost these on your blog, forward them to friends,
and repost them on forums. Just be sure to give proper credit, ok?
:-)

Joel personalized the list to first person, so repeat after me…

1) I will clearly define what I want my Internet business to look
like in one year and set specific attainable goals to make it
happen. (You can’t get where you are going without a roadmap, so
chart it out)

2) I will follow those who have succeeded, emulate their successes
and learn from their mistakes. (We all need mentors. Be sure you
are following people who have honestly and ethically found success)

3) I will stay focused and not get distracted by all the “bright
shiny objects” (Just because an ebook, course or software product
is great, doesn’t mean it is going to help in your specific
business. Be discerning!)

4) I will use the product I have purchased before buying anything
else. (Do you have unread ebooks? Read ‘em! Unused software?
Use it! Unwatched DVDs? Put them in the DVD player!)

5) I will prioritize networking relationships with others in my
industry, as it is people and not websites that make my business
successful. (This is the secret to my success…)

6) I will make every effort to attend at least one Internet
marketing live event in 2008. (And this is where I discovered the
secret to my success!)

7) I will wisely invest time and money in my business. (If you
aren’t willing to make sacrifice, you probably aren’t going to
achieve your goals)
8) I will THINK BIG! (The opportunity is seemingly endless. Don’t
be satisfied with small successes… go for it!)

9) I will not give up! (Nothing happens without action. Never stop
taking action.)

10) I will pay it forward. (It is more blessed to give than to
receive, and I’ve found that when you help others it always comes
back to you with good stuff)

I hope you find these useful as you enter 2008!

From Cubicle Slave to the Next Internet Millionaire review

I have just returned from a beach vacation with my family. While I was away I took the opportunity to read Jaime Luchuck’s new book From Cubicle Slave to the Next Internet Millionaire. In case you did not pick it up from the books title Jaime was a contestant on the internet reality show titled The Next Internet Millionaire. You can watch the show if you visit the site.

The contest was held at Loveland, Colorado and was the brainchild of Joel Comm and Eric Holmlund.

In Jaime’s book she gives you a run down about how she found her way into the show and how she had no real interest in being a contestant. She also runs through a bit of a life story mixed in with interesting insights and stories.

Once she gets to the stage of being a contestant on the show her book reveals much of the details from the show. The book is based on the notes written by Jaime during her time as a contestant. As she was in the show until the end you get all the information from the guest speakers. Just that in itself makes it a worthwhile read.

The part I related to most was her chapter on Working 9 to 5 Not a Way to Make a Living. In this chapter she discusses how people have a choice to turn up at work each day or get out and try something else. Most of the budding Internet entrepreneurs would also relate to this chapter. The rest of the world will just carry on complaining about life and keep working the safe 9 to 5 job.

Each day during the show a standout Internet Marketer would give a presentation. In the book you get a summary of each presentation. In order of appearance the presenters were Mark Joyner, Armand Morin, Jeff Walker, Marlon Sanders, Mike Koenigs, Brad Fallon, Kris Jones, Mike Filsaime, Ray Edwards, Dave Taylor, Perry Marshall and Rich Schefren. I am sure you have heard some of those names before.

If you get the book you get to hear from all of the above. Overall I think it is a book worth reading if you are new to Internet Marketing. Who knows it could lead you to being the next Internet Millionaire.

** If you have read the book or watched the show I would love to hear your comments **
