The normal Godaddy domain registration cost for a dot com domain is close to ten dollars. If you do a domain search at Bustaname and then choose to register through Godaddy it is $6.95 plus a bit of tax or some other small charge. You end up paying $7.15 from my experience.

The Bustaname site is also useful for doing some domain name research. It allows you to enter two or three keywords and it will make suggestions for you.

Even if you are not interested in using Godaddy it is a worthwhile site to visit. You do have the option to register domains through other companies when doing it via Bustaname.
