Getting From Point A to Point B

The other day I was in a five hour discussion with some of the members from a mastermind I am part of.

One of the guys has been involved in many of the big internet marketing launches and mixes with the “in crowd”.

He was talking to another member about his secrets for success. The key was knowing where you are today and where you want to be in the future.

You look at Point B, the future destination and work your way backwards to plan out how you would reach that.

For example say you have a desire to live a lifestyle where you can spend a large part of your week playing with the kids. You want to have $15 000 per month income to allow this to happen.

You then say just before I achieved that I was running 10 authority websites that earn $1500 a month. You step back another level and say before I was earning $1500 a month per site I reached that by using Youtube etc to drive traffic and have products available at $97 a pop with upsells.

Work out how many sales per day you need and how you get the traffic etc. Keep working your way back until you are point A. From point A you then can see the steps required to reach point B. With that all clear in your mind you know what you need to reach the end goal.

Now I hope I conveyed the story from the mastermind with enough accuracy to give you the idea of what you need to be doing to make yourself successful online.

Some other tips he passed on was the usual information about focus. Don’t change from one bright shiny thing to the other each time you feel something is not working out.

Beautiful Autumn Day in Gungahlin

Today was one of those days you feel glad your alive. To start with it was a Monday and I did not have to go into work, at least not the office job with the everyday certainty of a salary.

It was a sensational autumn day in Canberra. Sunny, a slight chill in the air and no wind. Off I went with my german shepherd puppy, Lulu. We went running for 40 minutes, at least walking and running.

Later I grabbed my bike and went for a ride, once again it was so good to be out and about. I combined the ride with a bit of work. I was taking photos for my gungahlinbusinessdirectory.com.au website that I have established recently.
