From Cubicle Slave to the Next Internet Millionaire review

I have just returned from a beach vacation with my family. While I was away I took the opportunity to read Jaime Luchuck’s new book From Cubicle Slave to the Next Internet Millionaire. In case you did not pick it up from the books title Jaime was a contestant on the internet reality show titled The Next Internet Millionaire. You can watch the show if you visit the site.

The contest was held at Loveland, Colorado and was the brainchild of Joel Comm and Eric Holmlund.

In Jaime’s book she gives you a run down about how she found her way into the show and how she had no real interest in being a contestant. She also runs through a bit of a life story mixed in with interesting insights and stories.

Once she gets to the stage of being a contestant on the show her book reveals much of the details from the show. The book is based on the notes written by Jaime during her time as a contestant. As she was in the show until the end you get all the information from the guest speakers. Just that in itself makes it a worthwhile read.

The part I related to most was her chapter on Working 9 to 5 Not a Way to Make a Living. In this chapter she discusses how people have a choice to turn up at work each day or get out and try something else. Most of the budding Internet entrepreneurs would also relate to this chapter. The rest of the world will just carry on complaining about life and keep working the safe 9 to 5 job.

Each day during the show a standout Internet Marketer would give a presentation. In the book you get a summary of each presentation. In order of appearance the presenters were Mark Joyner, Armand Morin, Jeff Walker, Marlon Sanders, Mike Koenigs, Brad Fallon, Kris Jones, Mike Filsaime, Ray Edwards, Dave Taylor, Perry Marshall and Rich Schefren. I am sure you have heard some of those names before.

If you get the book you get to hear from all of the above. Overall I think it is a book worth reading if you are new to Internet Marketing. Who knows it could lead you to being the next Internet Millionaire.

** If you have read the book or watched the show I would love to hear your comments **
